Recent cajons:

Bara asked me for a cajon for her boyfriend Bjørn. She wanted “something in harmony with Norway and for Norwegian farmers”. Hmm .. 🙂 so I chose a walnut and chestnut stain and an fair 15mm birch board.

None of us knew how difficult it would be to deliver cajon to Norway because of COVID. But in the end, despite all the complications, it succeeded and cajon is after a few months of research in Norway. Hurrah!

Lucie Rimona approached me with a clear idea of a cajon in a natural color. However, poplar is not the most beautiful wood without modifications. In the end, I went the way of oiling, with a layer of hard varnish on top. The result pleased me. This is another cajon in the “women’s” version. It is lower, significantly lighter and with a thin plate for a weaker punch.

A series of nine children’s cajons, based on the impulse of Terka. Most of them ended up as a gift under the Christmas tree. I hope that several future musicians will grow on them 🙂

It is half the version of the adult, both in terms of size and weight, so that children can easily handle it themselves.

Denisa wanted a cajon for Christmas so much that Santa came to me and ordered it. However, there were several clearly defined parameters in the order. Green birch wood and an orange sound board, which will be decorated with a hummingbird.
It is the first cajon with a snare, which is adapted to the length of the player’s fingers, and also my first cajon, which goes to Germany.
And this is what it looks like ..
